Recycled Art!

For the last few weeks we have been working on a recycled art job in honor of earth day. It was a very complicated art job so we had to break it down into four steps. The first step was to do paper Mache with ripped up pieces of paper from an old book and glue them down onto a white piece of paper using a glue and water mixture. Once the glue dried we painted a sky and grass onto the paper. And once that dried the next step was to paint a tree onto the paper using black paint. But before we went in with paint we had to sketch out a tree on loose leaf paper with branches that looked like y shapes. Then for the last step we used all kinds of pretty fabric and cut out a whole bunch of circles in small, medium and large sizes. Once we had all of our circles cut out we glued the small circles onto the medium circles and then glued that to the large circles, last but not least we would glue all the finished circles onto the tree to look like leaves. We would rate this art job 5 out of 5 slurpies!:)
