Mother's Day Art: Abstract Wildflowers

I really hope all the moms from our class and beyond had a wonderful Mother's Day! We appreciate  you more than words can say. I hope you loved the abstract wildflowers artwork as much as I did! Each one is unique; just like you. Please be sure to check out the art on Artsonia! Ms. W  :)

This week we have been working hard starting and trying to finish our Mother’s day art. We are giving our Moms a card and a framed picture of our most recent art work. The art piece that we have been working on is called wild flowers art. It is a really funky looking piece of art but still looks fabulous. Here’s what we did. Step 1 we had to splatter paint on canvas paper. It looked like a bunch of blobs but in the end everything looked good, you will see. Step 2 we had to take a thin tip Sharpie and make flower designs on the splatters of paint. There were some very creative flower designs. Some people even created a flower with super cool designs, so cool that you wouldn’t understand at first. After we were done making the flowers that first looked like odd blobs we made the stems of the flowers and some people thickened their stems, LIKE ANDREW, and some people made faces LIKE ANDREW! But it still looked great. Once we finished our art Miss Wasney put it in a picture frame and we wrapped it up with the well known, super awesome, confetti like wrapping paper. I LOVE wrapping paper. Caeden said that he loves it because it comes in all different colours at the store, and Andrew LOVES it because it comes in pink. I rate this art 5 out of 5JJJJJ. #WRAPPINGPAPERJ P.S. we also love smiley facesJJJJJ!
