This art had lots of steps, but they were worth it! First
we made trees with masking tape. Some of us added branches, if we wanted. Then
we painted the background with watercolours. The next day, we used sponges and
paint to create leaves at the tops of our trees. Once the paint dried, we
removed the tape. Then we used oil pastels to make shadows and birch bark marks
on the trees.
