Science Design: Rain Gauges

Today we finished our science design. We made rain gauges. This is stuff you need to make the rain gauge me (Faith), Emma and Jordan used: a jar, ruler, screws, sharpie and hot glue. Here’s how you make it: cut the ruler so it can fit up and down on the jar. Glue that on with hot glue. Then take your screws and put sharpie dots on the bottom of you jar where you want your screws. Then glue your screws on. Now if you want you can decorate the jar. Then you are done! Just stick it in the ground and wait for it to rain. I really like how ours turned out! You should try it at home!
