Funky umbrellas on a rainy day!

Well, we had a student complete their "Kidblog Homework" already! Thanks to Isabella for typing up a detailed list of instructions for our latest artwork!

Be sure to take a closer peek at the art on Artsonia! Check out the process that we used to create the art in the video below . . .

This week we started our Spring artwork! It was a girl/boy with its head under the umbrella so you do not have to draw the head.
This is how you make them.....
#1 Make a puddle and grass or just a puddle or just grass at the bottom.
#2 Use a tracer or do a free hand sketch in pencil.
#3 Draw the jacket. If you want pockets buttons or a zipper draw it on.(if you want it to be a girl curve the bottom of the jacket or if you want it to be a boy keep it straight.)
#4 Draw the handle of the umbrella and make the girl or boys hand hold it!
#5 Draw the legs or pants.
#6 draw the rubber boots.
#7 Use oil pastels and color it in.
#8 Trace it all with black oil pastels.
#9 Paint the back-ground blue.
I think this is my favorite art we have done all year! I think this art was pretty easy!
