Fall Leaves in the Wind . . . Amazing Art!

I absolutely LOVE fall! And I adore this art we did over the last 2 weeks, especially because each piece of art is totally unique. Students were asked to collect at least 5 non-crunchy leaves. We traced them onto watercolour paper, and carefully added the detail of the veins. Then, all the pencil lines were traced over with a Sharpie. Next, students used oil pastels to colour in their leaves, layering shades, if they wanted. Finally, the sky background was painted with liquid watercolours.
