Shamrock Art

Throughout the past few days we’ve been working on Shamrock Art. It was fun, dirty, and smelly!

STEP 1: Shaving cream and paint!

To start this art, Ms. Wasney sprayed Shaving Cream on a cookie sheet and squirted 3 different colours of green paint on top. Then we took a Popsicle Stick and blended it in until it looked all swirly. Then, you took a piece of white computer paper and pressed it on. Then you would pull it off, going towards the right. Then, you wait a few minutes and scrape it off the paper with a scraper. Then you put it on the drying rack.

STEP 2: cutting and gluing.

The second step is to take your paper off the drying rack. Then you have to trace shamrocks on the back. Or you could draw your own shamrocks. You can choose where you want to put them and you are the one person who decides what part of the designs you want to put on the shamrocks. Then you cut out the shamrocks. And then you glue them on the paper. And now you’re DONE!
