Over the last few weeks, we have been busy working on some Spring Art, modeled after artist and author Eric Carle. We made textured paintings using a variety of items (saran wrap, bubble wrap, popsicle sticks, and cardboard tubes). Then, we painted a background with blue watercolours. Finally, we made flowers and grass out of our textured paintings and created beautiful fields of flowers. Now, if only the snow would melt, then it would FEEL like Spring!
