I love working on the poetry unit with students every year because by the time we're nearing the end, so many students express how much they enjoy it! This week we learned about limericks and haiku poems. I have a shirt that I love to wear this time of the year. I like to think that if the students can understand the shirt, then I know that they understand haiku poetry!

Haha what a wonderful shirt! We just finished up our poetry unit but I would have loved to have a shirt like this during it.
