We've had a super busy week! Two students returned from trips and shared about their adventures. We did some math, shared our design projects, social studies research, and of course loads of gym and music classes. We are busy preparing for the music festival, so we've been having extra practices! We did a neat kindness activity; where the students brainstormed things to say to others at the end of a day. We posted all the speech bubbles on a bulletin board by an exit door - they look awesome!
Yesterday, the gymnasts showed the entire school their warm-up and creative routines. They've been practicing since January! We also shared our science design projects with Mrs. Dyck's Grade 5 class, and they showed us theirs. It's so cool that no two marble runs were the same!
Today was a busy day with library, gym, computer lab, hot lunch and an afternoon full of stations! Ms. Rand organized a Buddy Activity day, and the older students were the team leaders. It was nice to see Room 31 students stepping up and taking responsibility in our school. The stations were soooooooo much fun!
