On Tuesday, Room 31 kids LOVED having the entire morning to work on Science Design Projects . . . which have turned out fantastic! No two projects are the same! I love it! :) Hopefully we'll get a video up soon to share the entire process! Ms. Palamar visited our classroom with some sad news about the passing of Matt's dad. Our hearts go out to Matt and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Please see a note in your child's agenda (sent home today) regarding something that Room 31 wants to put together for Matt and his sisters.
Yesterday was a low-key day . . . we created cards for Matt, played multiplication bingo, visited our Grade 2 Book Buddies, and worked hard during Music in preparation for the upcoming Music Festival. A few students attended the funeral for Matt's dad, as did I. It was a beautiful tribute. Some of you may know that I went to high school with Matt's parents, so I was really fortunate to have known Matt's dad, and be able to celebrate the amazing person he was!
And that was our week.
I'm appreciating that the days are getting longer, and looking forward to warmer weather! Do you think March will come in like a lion or a lamb?!
Thanks for being you.
- Ms. W :)
