On Monday the 15 of September we celebrated International
Dot Day!
Here is what we did: we first read the book
called “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. The moral of the book is that only a
single dot can make a big difference in art. So inspire others to try, try, try
and don’t give up no matter how frustrated you are getting.
Then we did some math but first we read a book
called “A Million Dots” by Andrew Clements illustrated by Mike Reed. It tells
you facts like it would take 464,000 school-lunch cartons to fill a 20-by-40
foot pool (please pass the straws)! For Math, we had to see how many dots we
could make in one minute, then we had to group them by 10s and count them up.
It would take our class just over 3 hours to draw one million dots! 
Another fun activity was colouring a circle.
Then, we put the paper under the iPad and used the app CoLAR Mix to make the
dots come to life. We also played a dot game with a partner. We can’t wait
until the next International Dot Day!

Hi Ms.wasney! I'm not sure if this works but it's me Arias best friend. I left this comment on my iPod so I'm not sure It will work.
I think dot day was AWSOME! I can't belive it would take our class 3 hours to make 1,000,000 dots! I thought it would take around the whole day.
