The SPIN Club will be running one final campaign of the year with "WE Schools". We will be doing a "Water Walk" and collecting pledges. Each Grade 5 student has been invited to participate in a 4km walk to carry a 4 litre milk jug to the pits (off of Bird's Hill Road). After filling the jugs with water, we will walk back to BHS.Mrs. Tresoor and I hope that this activity will show that for some people, getting water isn't as simple as just turning on a tap! Girls in some countries walk 6km every day to fetch water and are unable to attend school because of this chore!
