We've had an awesome week in Room 31! We met with our Grade 2 Book Buddies from Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Dent Scarcello's classroom for the very first time. We will be getting together every Day 4 to do a variety of activities. It's so great to see the older students be the "big buddies", when they once were the "little buddies"!We watched Kid President's "Pep Talk for Teachers and Students". We then brainstormed with our table groups all the attributes we want to "be" this year. Then, students created their own lists to aspire to!

We really couldn't have asked for a better afternoon than today . . . the weather was perfect for the Terry Fox run! Several students from Room 31 volunteered to help with set-up, directing traffic, or even ran with a younger student. It's so nice to see 4/5W take on some leadership jobs at BHS! Way to go! It was really touching to read all the stickers that the students wore to state who they were running for.
